Reebok and Jjjjound officially announce the latest collaborative release between the irreverent sports culture brand and design studio: the JJJJound x Reebok Club C Nubuck. The announcement follows a Reebok x JJJJound Club C that was released earlier this year and a series of Reebok x JJJJound NPC II styles that dropped in 2022.

The Reebok x JJJJound Club C Nubuck will be released in an all-black colorway inspired by the prevalence of black clothing within the spheres of art and design. The choice of all-black attire typically serves as a calculated strategy to exude sophistication and seriousness, while imitating a canvas on which artists’ creations can flourish without distraction. The look fosters unity through an aesthetic that is shared by creatives across disciplines and has the unique capability to signify formality within professional contexts, while retaining its historical association with counterculture defiance.

The all-black aesthetic was applied to the Club C due to the silhouette’s evolution over the past few decades and enduring relevance. The Club C originally debuted in the 1980’s as a tennis shoe and has evolved into one of Reebok’s most iconic classic silhouettes. This iteration features the JJJJound logo on the windowbox, a heat transfer Reebok logo on the insole and nubuck leather upper.

The JJJJound x Reebok Club C Black will be available for $150 in unisex sizing at JJJJound.com beginning August 24th, 2023 before a global release on Reebok.com on August 30th, 2023.
