Not only is Nike bringing back Kobe Bryant’s first signature shoe (with a few updates), but they are also giving LeBron James fans a treat with the return of the Nike Air Zoom Generation in the OG Wheat colorway.
Early in his rookie season, LeBron James famously told Nike that he could ball in anything, even work boots. This self-assurance inspired the legendary boot-inspired colorway of the Air Zoom Generation, the King’s first signature shoe. He debuted the now-iconic look during the 2004 Rookie Challenge Game at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. 14 years later the shoe makes a return as it’ll be dropping in OG form.
The Nike Air Zoom Generation Wheat is scheduled to release on February 17th for a price tag of $225. Will you be grabbing a pair?
