It’s a new year so that means we have a whole new set of upcoming Barney’s New York Sole Series releases. For those of you that don’t know, Barneys New York has an ongoing series named the BNY Sole Series. This collaborative project has them link up with footwear brands to release premium iterations in exclusive colorways. Starting of 2017 is this collaboration with Vans to create premium renditions of the Vans Slip-On.

The Slip-On will be made available in two premium colorways. The model is not done using a simplified construction. As a matter of fact, it’s actually very complex. It consists of the classic checkerboard patter on the upper, which happens to be constructed out of suede, grain leather and spazzolato leather. The ned result is a premium aesthetic on the model like we’ve never seen before. No word yet on when these drop, but make sure you keep it locked and we’ll be sure to provide you with that info as soon as it becomes available.
