To follow up on its official reveal, a more detailed look at the Air Jordan 12 CNY is featured, which is essentially a special rendition of the silhouette in celebration of Chinese New Year.

Draped in a classic combination of black and white, which is also reminiscent of the AJ 12 Taxi — white leather covers the majority of its upper, that also bears a 3M reflective overlay which activates when exposed to flash.

Textured black leather covers the mudguard and heel tab, in addition to woodgrain detailing adorning the miniature branded side panels and the top two upper eyelets. Other notable details include Chinese text of ‘貳拾’ evidenced on the tongues, which translates to ’12’ and clear pods on the outsole.

You can expect to find this pair at select JB and Nike retailers on January 28th — Chinese New Year — for $250.
