Five Heart Podcast Ep. 250: The Saddest Celebration Ever

It was supposed to be a party. It became a pity party.

This Five Heart Episode is the 250th and it was meant to be a celebration. 250 is a decent little milestone. Sure, other podcasts have more episodes. Some certainly have more listeners. But for what we do here at Corn Nation, I’m pretty pleased by it all.

In my mind, this episode was going to be something of an open-door policy with everyone from Corn Nation popping in for a little bit. But “life,” on in the case of the evening we recorded this, “Husker volleyball.” But I digress.

We talk about some of the history of the Five Heart Podcast, and as the guy who’s been here since the beginning...it was an honor to relive some of those memories. We talked about Brian, and all that he did for Corn Nation.

Then we got really depressed and talked about football. I don’t know how it happened. It was an onslaught of negativity. So the world is ending, Scott Frost is getting fired, and we’re going to start from scratch again.

OR WILL WE?

We have no idea.

Thank you for being with us for 250 episodes. We’ll see how many more we can do before we call it quits like the Big Red Cobcast (whom I love and miss).
