Jaguars re-sign Jarrod Wilson

The Jaguars got a head start on the off-season, by announcing the re-signing of fourth-year safety Jarrod Wilson on Saturday.

The terms of the deal were not yet disclosed, though Adam Schefter of ESPN has reported it is a three-year deal.

Wilson joined the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2016, and has since played a primary role on special teams, while serving as the team’s primary backup at both the free and strong safety positions.

He filled in admirably during the 2017 Divisional playoff game at Pittsburgh, following an injury to Gipson and played well at times while serving as the starter when rookie Ronnie Harrison was placed on injured reserve towards the end of the 2018 campaign.
