LeSean McCoy will be “game-time decision” for playoffs

LeSean Mccoy is officially a “game-time decision” and “close call” for the Buffalo Bills as they prepare to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in the opening round of the playoffs, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Our friends at Buffalo Rumblings were optimistic from the start, saying the news about his injury was positive as of a few hours after the Bills clinched a playoff spot.

X-rays on the injured ankle were negative, according to Adam Schefter’s sources, which was the first bit of good news. The second bit of good news came Monday morning from Ian Rapoport, who said that McCoy could possibly play next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That means McCoy avoided the dreaded high ankle sprain in favor or the normal, run-of-the-mill sprain.

McCoy rushed for 1,138 yards and six touchdowns in 2017. His 4.0 yards per carry is a big reason the Bills are in the playoffs as they ranked near the bottom of the league in passing yards per game.
