Jaguars add linebacker Josh McNary

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed free agent Linebacker Josh Mcnary, the team announced on Thursday morning. McNary, 28, has spent his entire NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts and started only a handful of games the past three seasons. McNary has been primarily a special teams player during his tenure with the Colts, which is something the Jaguars have been trying to bolster this offseason.

In his final season with the Colts, McNary lead the team with nine special teams tackles.

McNary, 6' and 251 pounts, player his college football at Army and serviced in the active military prior to joining the NFL. He should join fellow free agent signings Audie Cole and Larentee McCray as special teams focused players, as the Jaguars starting linebacker group appears to be set barring a surprise trade or release of Paul Posluszny. In college at Army, McNary set various team records, including being the Academy's all-time leader in career sacks.
