The Jacksonville Jaguars were big players in free agency, handing out massive contract deals to both A.J. Bouye and Calais Campbell. The other big player the team signed in free agency was former Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church, though the deal Church signed was much more mid-level than high end, and in reality it's a really nice deal for the Jaguars if Church continues the level of play he had in Dallas.

Church was given a four-year, $26 million deal with $12 million guaranteed.

Just like every other deal we've looked at, it's standard two-year deal that is very manageable after that point, where if Church is still playing at an adequate level and a starter, you can hold on to Church for not a huge cap hit. The guaranteed money for church is paid out in the firs two seasons, but if he ends up being just an absolute disaster, the team can actually get out of the deal in 2018 without much damage to the cap in the terms of dead money.
