It has been an incredible summer transfer window for Barcelona as the club directors have done everything possible to hand Ernesto Valverde a team that is capable of winning on all fronts.

After days of speculations, Barcelona have this evening, confirmed that a deal has been struck with Bayern Munich for Aturo Vidal.

The midfielder seems to be the final piece of the puzzle for Vlaverde in the midfield after the tactician admitted to the press that they was still reinforcements to be done in that area of the pitch.

Confirming that an agreement had been struck, a statement from the club read:

FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Arturo Vidal.

The agreement is for the next three seasons and is pending the medical examination that the player will undertake over the course of the next few days.

FC Barcelona will shortly inform everyone about the arrival of the player and the agenda of the presentation ceremony.

The Chilean seems to be a direct replacement for Paulinho who recently returned back to the Chinese Super League after one season with Barcelona.
