Spain’s top football division, La Liga has today confirmed the fixtures for the upcoming 2018/2019 season after the draw the draw which took place in Las Rozas.
The league’s title holders, Barcelona, would be kicking off their campaign against Alaves at the Camp Nou in the first week round of fixtures, while rivals Real Madrid face Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu.

But some interesting dates for Barcelona are below.
El Clasico
The first clash in the league takes place on matchday 10 (the weekend of October 27 and 28). And the return at the Santiago Bernabéu will be on matchday 26 (the weekend of March 2 and 3).
Fans of both teams are definitely in for an interesting game as the fixture hasn’t ended 0-0 in the last 16 years.
Spanish Super Cup
The Spanish Super Cup would take place a week before the opening game of the La Liga season.
Barcelona play Sevilla in Morocco on August 15 2018.
First win at the Wanda Metropolitano
Barcelona would try to get their get win at Atletico Madrid’s new stadium (Wanda Metropolitano) on Week 13.
Barcelona vs Huesca
It would be the first in Barcelona’s history they would play at Alcoraz in La Liga.
End of campaign
The competition will end on 19 May with an away trip to Eibar.
International breaks
During the campaign there will be international breaks 3-10 September, 8-16 October, 12-20 November and 18-16 March.
