Some of the biggest talents in the game were on display on Wednesday night as Manchester United played Barcelona in front of over 80,000 fans.
The match was a friendly game and the atmosphere was extremely jovial among both sets of players.
Barcelona were the eventual winners, snatching a narrow 1-0 win through Neymar. It was Barcelona’s second successive win in their preseason, even though the fans would have wanted more goals.
Messi and Neymar were in action in the first half only and had one interesting moment with Paul Pogba after the after.
Pogba who is one of most free-spirited players you can think of, was pictured laughing his guts out as he chatted with Messi and Neymar.
The big question many are asking is what the trio were actually discussing about and if they understood each other. We know Pogba speaks Italian, English and French but we are unsure if he speaks Spanish or Portuguese.
Neymar has been visiting the United States a couple of times, but he is still not comfortable communicating in English.
And for Messi, he has shown no signs he can speak or understand English. But a clue could lie in a video Messi shared of his younger son, Mateo, learning English (Watch here).
The chemistry between the players was so much that even Barcelona boss, Ernesto Valverde, spoke about it after the game.
Meanwhile Manchester United fans are dreaming of the scenario where Pogba was acting like a secret agent trying to lure Neymar over.
So far, Pogba has been successful in getting Lukaku, but Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban saw his efforts on Griezmann fail.
