One big problem remains in Barcelona’s move for Hector Bellerin as they consider other options

It has been almost two weeks since the transfer window opened and no big name is yet to arrive at Barcelona. The Catalans are still working on their transfer targets, but are aware it is decision time for any target.

New Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has been in constant touch with sporting director Robert Fernandez. And this week say Valverde updated on Barcelona’s transfer progress so far.

The priorities of Barcelona are very clear as two midfielders are likely to arrive in addition to a right-back.

Talks are progressing well for Paulinho, while Barca have met a brick wall for players like Verratti and Hector Bellerin.

Bellerin remains the number one option for Barcelona, but a problem still remains.

Arsenal are reluctant to sell, but Barcelona are confident they can be persuaded with a big transfer fee, and Wenger has also told the player that he would not let him go. And such a mega offer remains a big problem for Barcelona as Valverde doesn’t really think Bellerin is worth so much.

Barcelona are currently working on a time frame and are close to shifting their attention to someone else.

Other options are slowly picking up steam and Bellerin is now more likely to remain at the Emirates.
