Barcelona fans rallied behind their team as they returned back to league action, putting their problems behind them.

And the Catalans looked like they were heading for an easy win when Lionel Messi put them 2-0 after 37minutes. But in what turned out to a a defining three minutes, the game quickly changed.

Umtiti scored an own goal in the 42nd minute, before Paco Alcacer restored the two-goal cushion in the 44th minute. But just before the halftime, Real Sociedad made it 3-2 through Prieto.

The second half was never the same again for Barcelona as they fought to leave with all three points. Alcacer who came in to replace Neymar, benefited from a Messi assist, and spoke about the game.

He told Movista+ : “The truth is that after scoring the third goal in the 43rd minute of the second half we thought that half was over.

“Then came the 3-2 and they caught us out. However, the important thing was to win the game after a defeat and it’s good to get the positive dynamic back.”

“I will help the team by playing where the coach asks me to”, Alcacer also spoke about the Juventus clash in midweek.

Ad then on their next match against Juventus, he added: “The game against PSG was more complicated, it’s harder to come back from 4-0 down than 3-0. We will fight until the end, like always.”
