Andre Gomes started in place of Iniesta and one journalist questioned Iniesta’s contribution to the team. According to SPORT, the journalist asked Enrique if he needed to rest Iniesta more in favor of Andre Gomes.

And in a sharp response, the Barcelona boss said: “Iniesta is unique and indisputable. There is no player who can unseat Iniesta. I have always admired and valued him.

“But if you believe that someone can remove the Iniesta, that is ridiculous.”

Iniesta came on in the 69th minute as Barcelona held on for a 3-2 win and maintain pressure on Real Madrid.
