Cristiano Ronaldo recently penned a new deal with Real Madrid. But his time at the club may not be as long as many may want it to be.

But at 32, the attacker shows no sings of retirement and would look to draw inspiration from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ronaldo has endured a difficult time this season in front of goal.

The Portuguese has scored just 26 goals in all competitions this season. 19 of those goals have come in the La Liga and its a really impressive return for any striker in Europe… but not Roanldo.

Ronaldo has set the bar so high that scoring 26 goals isn’t just going to be enough compared with Messi’s tally.

However, despite his dip in form, he has enjoyed special privileges from Zinedine Zidane. And according to Don Balon, some Real Madrid players are upset with how things are going at the club.

Modric and Bale want Cristinao Ronaldo out of team

Players like Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos have all allegedly had a word with Zindine about Ronaldo’s continued inclusion in the starting XI.

The likes of Alvaro Morata, Marco Asensio, Mateo Kovacic and Lucas Vazquez have also been named in the report as those amongst the group that met with Zidane.

They believe every player should be treated equally and starting positions determined by performance and not on reputation.
