Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Lincoln did little to mask the mood around the club at the moment. The team was humiliated the Champions League by Bayern Munich.

Bayern thrashed them 5-1 at the Emirates, rounding off a 10-2 aggregate win. And a place in the Champions League quarter-finals now looks like an impossibility.

Speaking via Mirror Sport, the Arsenal goalie said:

It is sad and he was as sad as I have seen him.

But obviously you can take the picture and you can interpret it the way you want unfortunately.

But we the players we know exactly what he said and we know how he was hurting and he was as disappointed as anybody else. It is unfortunate and disappointing.
