Every top team in the world has to have a very extensive and vast scouting network.
But we somehow didn’t think Barcelona would actually be scouting from the lower leagues of Scotland.
However, reports from British papers seem to prove us wrong as they talk about interests in Tony Gallacher.
According to The Sun and Dailymail, Barcelona are keeping tabs on the Falkirk teenager.
Gallacher who is 17-years-old, is one of the most promising left-backs in Scotland.
And Barcelona are not the only European heavyweights interested in him, as Manchester United, Everton and Stoke were all named.
With Jordi Alba and Lucas Digne in the Barcelona team, his chances would be zero.
But Barcelona’s intentions would be to put him among the Barcelona B team and watch how he progresses over the years.
Gallacher made his debut as a 16-year-old in a Scottish Cup tie in November 2015. He has since gone on to make seven first-team appearances this season.
