Former George Mason standout Mike Morrison, who has most recently been playing in Germany, was invited to a free agent mini-camp by the Utah Jazz this week. There is a Mason connection with the Jazz, as former assistant coach Mike Wells (’11-’13) is currently apart of their coaching staff. Great to see Morrison’s accomplishments overseas rewarded and that he was able to get an opportunity with NBA scouts. Hopefully he did well at the workouts and we will see him on a summer league team soon.
