NABY KEITA SET TO JOIN LIVERPOOL IN £50 MILLION DEAL

RB Leipzig are believed to have began serious negotiations with Liverpool over the sale of their prized young midfielder Naby Keita.

Given that both teams are about to enter the Champion's League this coming Season, there had been major doubts about Keita's transfer to any club, let alone Jurgen Klopp's side this term but with personal terms and wages already agreed with the player this week, the only hold-up would appear to be the price at which Leipzig are willing to sell the star midfielder.

With eight goals and eight assists in his 31 league appearances for the club last season, Keita was one of the most prolific players in a team packed with attacking talent.
He could not only direct an attack from the edge of the final third, but also pop up as a poacher in the penalty area.

Little wonder then that Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are after the Ghanian International.

The opening bid of £50 million is probably too little for Keita, closer to £70 million will need to be lodged in Leipzig's coffers in order to seal the deal for this quality player.
