WHY NOT START ALEXANDER ARNOLD AGAINST MAN CITY

With Nathanial Clyne's recent Average performance's in a Liverpool shirt, a strong case could be made for young Alexander-Arnold to replace him in the game against Manchester City on Sunday.

There is a lot riding on this fixture with Liverpool hoping to maintain their top-four status and Man City hoping to stay above us in the League.

Another victory by Jurgen Klopp's men will be a huge boost towards Champion's League football for next Season.

Some players have excelled this term while others have stagnated somewhat: Nathaniel Clyne has been an excellent recruit from Southampton with lots of amazing performances for Liverpool. Yet his form lately has dipped. His defending has been average and his crossing has been poor.

Enter Alexander-Arnold, he has been playing exceptionally well for the under-23 side at Liverpool this Season showing composure in defence and attack, he is a great crosser of the ball which Clyne sadly, is not. He can score a goal or two as well, and is very good defensively.

So it's a possibility, a lad deserving of a chance to be promoted to the first team who has a lot to contribute to Liverpool. Lets hope he gets the chance against Man City on Sunday.
