Season 1 included a diverse mix of actors, musicians, and more. First up is Khanyi Mbau, a South African actress best known for her role as Mbali in the soap opera Mzansi and in the miniseries After Nine. As of 2018, she has hosted The Scoop on SABC 3 and The Big Secret on BET Africa, as well as starring in Mzansi Magic’s Abomama, as Tshidi.

The next member of the cast, popularly known as Ndege Boy, is Kudzai Mushonga. Zimbabwean musician Mbau’s husband, he is known for his songs. Jeremiah Ogbodo, also known as Swanky Jerry, is a fashion stylist who has worked with numerous celebrities.

Diamond Platnumz, a Tanzanian pop singer, is so in love with women that he considers them his wives. Singing sensation 2Baba hails from Nigeria and is multi-talented in the arts. Next on the list is his wife Annie Macaulay-Idibia, who is a model, actress, and television presenter.

As a South African rapper and music producer known for her appearances on e.tv, Nadia Nakai launched her music career. Quinton Mansina, a.k.a. Naked DJ, comes in at number two on the list. She’s a professional footballer as well as his girlfriend Kayliegh Schwark. Zari, the brains behind Brooklyn City College, has arrived (BCC). After Andile Ncube, who is a media figure and an actor, comes the next name.
