Invincible Season 2 Release Date & Where To Watch?

Invincible made its long-awaited Amazon Prime Video premiere about a year ago, and since then, the world has not stopped talking about it. Even before it came out, people were talking about it, as if they had a premonition that it would be as highly received as it ended up being.

The question is, why not? A critically-acclaimed Image Comics series written by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley is the inspiration for the program. When the first three episodes of Invincible debuted on Netflix in March, they were welcomed with universal acclaim.

However, aficionados of the comic and newcomers alike made the most of the eight-episode inaugural season by applauding it for its bold creative decisions, adult storyline, and overall faithfulness to the original source material. As a result of their efforts, Amazon agreed to extend the show for at least two further seasons.

Despite the fact that Invincible season 2 is on its way, we won’t be seeing it this month. Invincible has been removed from the Netflix schedule for February 2022.

Is There A Release Date For Invincible Season 2?

Invincible season 2 is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in the second half of 2022, however, it hasn’t been formally announced.

For the present, the most likely release date for Amazon’s animated series in the fall/winter of 2022, considering that animated programs often take a long time to make.

Invincible’s first season is currently available to stream in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video.

Invincible Season 2 Release Date, Watching

Only on Amazon Prime will you be able to watch Invincible Season 2 throughout the world. Invincible is only accessible on Amazon Prime because the show is produced by Amazon and will not be available on any other streaming services like Disney Plus, HBO Max, or Netflix.

Although the comics don’t reveal much about Season 2, the ending episode of Season 1 left a lot of things unresolved. After leaving Earth, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons) is expected to return if the Viltrum Empire is as vindictive as it is described to be. After a Martian arrived on Earth, Sequid facehuggers have seemingly invaded Mars, and the crime syndicate is now led by Titan (Mahershala Ali). Season 2 has a lot of potentials, whenever that may be.

Who Will Be Back For Season 2 Of Invincible?

  • J.K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man
  • Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson
  • Zazie Beetz as Amber Bennett
  • Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Eve Wilkins/Atom Eve
  • Andrew Rannells as William Clockwell
  • Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman
  • Jason Mantzoukas as Rex Sloan/Rex Splode
  • Ross Marquand as Rudy Conners, Kursk and Bi-Plane
  • Mark Hamill as Art Rosenbaum
  • Khary Payton as Markus Grimshaw/Black Samson
  • Malese Jow as Kate Cha/Dupli-Kate
  • Grey Griffin as Shrinking Rae and Amanda (Monster Girl’s human form)
  • Kevin Michael Richardson as Monster Girl/the Mauler Twins
  • Seth Rogen as Allen the Alien
  • Mahershala Ali as Titan

Other voice actors may also repeat their roles outside of the core group.

Season 1’s Robot was voiced by Zachary Quinto, but it’s not certain if he’ll be back for season 2. As we learned in the first season, Rudy Conners’ genetic abnormalities meant that he couldn’t leave his saline tank. Now, thanks to Robot, he can. Ross Marquand has taken up Rudy’s voice responsibilities since Rudy’s mind was transferred to his new clone body in episode 7.

It is therefore unclear whether Quinto will return. However, we don’t know yet if those events will be a part of Invincible season 2, season 3, or any other future seasons.

Clancy Brown (Damien Darkblood), Chris Diamantopoulos (Doc Seismic), Fred Tatasciore, Ezra Miller (D.A. Sinclair), Jeffrey Donovan (Machine Head), and Michael Dorn (Kill Cannon) are a few other actors that might make a comeback (Battle Beast and Thokk). Some of the characters mentioned by Kirkman (more on this below) have hinted at their comeback, but we don’t know yet who will.

Kirkman has stated a desire to see more of The Walking Dead’s characters in future seasons, which might mean more newcomers to the show. In addition to Yeun, Marquand, Cohan, Cudlitz, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Lennie James, Kirkman wants additional Walking Dead actors to feature in the animated series, which is now in development.

On ComicBook.com, he said: “Not a single actor from The Walking Dead is someone with whom I wouldn’t be interested in working again. It’s a fantastic cast of performers. Anyone from Andrew Lincoln to Norman Reedus to Melissa McBride to Jeffery Dean Morgan is welcome at my house.”

Last Words-

Season 2 of Invincible is expected to air in late 2022 or early 2023, depending on the schedule. Despite the fact that Season 2 and Season 3 are expected to be separated by a shorter time period.

For the time being, Amazon hasn’t revealed when viewers can expect to see Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) again, but Yeun told Collider earlier this month that the cast hasn’t recorded anything yet but is “beginning at some point soon”—so the series won’t be returning for a while.
