The 355 is a forthcoming American espionage action Film directed by Simon Kinberg, with a script written by Theresa Rebeck and Kinberg, based on a narrative by Rebeck. The film is set to be released in theatres on July 19, 2018. Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger, and Fan Bingbing feature as a group of multinational agents who must band together to prevent a terrorist organisation from launching World War III.
Sebastian Stan and Édgar Ramirez also appear in the film. A female spy for the Patriots during the American Revolutionary War was given the codename Agent 355. On January 7, 2022, Universal Pictures will distribute the film in the United States, which will be its first theatrical release in the country.

The 355 Production
While filming Dark Phoenix, Jessica Chastain brought up the concept of a female-led espionage thriller in the vein of the Mission: Impossible and James Bond series to her Dark Phoenix director, Simon Kinberg, who accepted the notion. The idea was developed further, and it was revealed in May 2018 that Kinberg will direct the picture, with Chastain producing, in addition to her acting with Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, Fan Bingbing, and Lupita Nyong’o in the film.
After being offered to buyers at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, Global Road Entertainment and Amazon Studios competed for distribution rights,with Global Road Entertainment winning the bid. and Universal Pictures finally won the rights to distribute the film in the United States and the United Kingdom for $20 million.
In February 2019, Chastain put out a call for recommendations about the selection of male performers for her next film.In May 2019, it was revealed that Sebastian Stan and Édgar Ramrez have joined the cast of the picture, with Marion Cotillard having withdrawn from consideration.
Diane Kruger was added to the cast in June, taking over for Marion Cotillard.Filming started in July 2019, with locations ranging from Paris to Morocco and London,utilising a variety of venues, including the Senate Building
Emilio Insolera joined the film’s cast in September of this year, according to Deadline. Additional photography was shot in London in July 2020 in accordance with precautionary precautions in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. Composer Tom Holkenborg wrote the music for the film’s soundtrack.
The 355 Release Date
Universal Pictures is planning to release the picture on January 7, 2022, which will be the first time the studio has done so. It was initially slated to be published on January 15, 2021, but was postponed to January 14, 2022, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, before being moved forward by a week to January 7, as a result of the outbreak. The 355 is expected to make $5–7 million in its first weekend of release in the United States and Canada, based on projections from 3,000 cinemas.
