The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off in seven days. What the Broncos wind up doing will set the course for the future.

Good morning, Broncos Country.

The long offseason wait is almost over. We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, my friends, it’s almost here—the 2024 NFL Draft kicks off at 8:00 (EST) on April 25th.

Fans across the league are waiting anxiously in anticipation of one of the best events of the year. For all of us faithful to the orange and blue, it presents a time where it doesn’t matter how bad the Broncos were last season or every year since Super Bowl 50. The past is the past. It’s in the proverbial rearview mirror as we blaze toward better pastures and unchartered trails.

The draft gives hope and profound optimism that things can get better in the Mile High City. It’s all about the future and the potentialities that could come to pass. How can one not be excited about what it has to offer? This year there is no shortage of storylines to follow.

Will the Denver Broncos finally land their quarterback of the future, or will they be the last franchise standing up in a game of musical chairs?

Will well-known players like Courtland Sutton, Patrick Surtain II and Garett Bolles remain Broncos, or will they be playing elsewhere in 2024?

Will this be George Paton’s last draft as General Manager or will he continue to work alongside Sean Payton in the years to come?

What other secrets and surprises may be in store for our beloved Broncos?

We don’t know yet for sure, but after the three-day draft extravaganza, we should have a much better feel about how the team will perform not just next season, but in the years to come. In the meantime, keep tuned to Mile High Report for the best Broncos coverage around, take a listen to our podcasts discussing anything and everything related to Denver’s draft endeavors and most of all—get your popcorn ready! A lot of fun is on the way and I’m excited to see how it all plays out alongside you.

As always—thank you for reading. Here is today’s slate of articles for Horse Tracks.
