Can we learn anything by looking at who is on the 90-man roster now that the Broncos have a full squad?
Before the start of the first game of the regular season in 2016, every NFL team will have to cut it's roster down to 53 active players. An additional 10 (I thought this had been changed to 11) players can be signed to the practice squad after they are cut by the team during training camp.

Below is the current 90-man roster (the official team website is not listing Kyle Kragen yet). Yes, Kyle is the son of former Broncos defensive tackle Greg Kragen.

The above table is only useful in context - i.e., how many players at each position did the Broncos begin the season with in 2015? That table is below.

Now, Denver coach Gary Kubiak might decide to structure the roster (at least offensively) at little differently than at the start of 2015. Historically, the Kubiak/Mike Shanahan offense has used more two tight end sets, as well as a true fullback.
So I would not be surprised in the least if Denver kept four true tight ends, a true fullback and only five receivers on the active roster. One note about the Week one 53-man roster from 2015: two of the Broncos' starters were suspended - T.J. Ward and Derek Wolfe. Curtis Marsh was released once Ward came back. Tight end/fullback James Casey was released to make room for Derek Wolfe.
If Denver ends up keeping five receivers, four tight ends and one fullback, here are the number of players at each position that will need to be cut to make it to 53 (center/guard counted as guard). Positions where the Broncos don't need to cut anyone are not listed.
C - 1 (Feretz doubled as a FB last season)
G - 1
T - 6
TE - 1
WR - 6
LS - 1
P - 1
DT/NT - 3
DE - 4
ILB - 2
OLB - 2
CB - 2* (Marsh is a CB who was holding Ward's roster spot)
S - 3* (see comment above about Marsh)
I have no doubt that there will be surprises (there always are, especially with John Elway and the Broncos).
What position group do you think will provide the biggest surprise as Denver cuts down to 53 players?
