The Denver Broncos will sign Defensive Lineman Ahtyba Ruvin and send Jared Crick to injured reserve.
The Denver Broncos have reportedly signed Defensive Lineman Ahtyba Rubin who was cut by the Seattle Seahawks before the season. Rubin was a player the Broncos were also reportedly interested in trading for, which obviously never happened.

Rubin was a sixth round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2008 and is a 330 pound interior defensive lineman. The Broncos clearly hope he’ll be another big man in the middle of the defense to hold down the run lanes.
The signing comes as news also broke that Jared Crick will need back surgery and is expected to be out several weeks. He will reportedly be moved to injured reserve and there are also rumors this surgery will be season ending for him.
“I wouldn’t say a setback,” head coach Vance Joseph said of Crick’s injury. “We’re just being really smart with him. We want to get him totally healthy so he can help us in the future.”
For the defensive line, they had a very solid first game. However, this week against the Dallas Cowboys will be their biggest litmus test yet - and possibly for the whole season.
