Giants at Redskins odds: Giants are 7.5-point underdogs vs. Washington

A winning streak? Do Giants fans dare to dream?

Should we dare even consider the possibility that the New York Giants, who won only one of their first nine games this season, could win two games in the space of five days? The 2-8 Giants travel to Landover, Md. to face the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving night.

Oddsmakers currently list the Giants as 7.5-point Underdogs.

The Redskins, though, are only 4-6 and have lost four of their last five. They lost in overtime to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, 34-31, blowing a 31-16 lead in the final three minutes of regulation.

“Everybody is pretty excited, obviously, to pull out a tough victory like we did yesterday and we want to carry that same energy that we had in that game into the next game,” running back Orleans Darkwa said on Monday afternoon.

Coach Ben McAdoo said Sunday night that “we played like the type of team that we’re capable of playing” during the game against the Chiefs.

Can the Giants repeat that effort Thanksgiving night?
