The Miami Dolphins are once again on the practice field, which means more ORANGE JERSEY AWARDS!

Football is back!

Well... kind of.

Today marked the Miami Dolphins' first day of organized team activities, which meant that the organization's players gathered in Miami Gardens to shake the rust off and begin preparation for the 2024 NFL season.

With the return of football — again, kind of — comes the return of the Orange Jersey Award!

This award is given by Miami's coaching staff to the player who excelled at the team's previous practice, or in today's case, the player who had the best session during the team's voluntary period (cue the Tua Tagovailoa hate in 3...2...1...).

The winner gets to wear an orange practice jersey and also gets to choose what music is played during the day of work, which can give some fun insight into the personal styles of individual players.

Today's winner was linebacker David Long Jr. in his new #11 jersey!

Long leads a new-look linebacking corp that saw plenty of fresh additions this offseason — most notably, former Seattle Seahawks first-round pick, Jordyn Brooks.

Keep your eye on this column after each practice for the latest on the prestigious Orange Jersey Award! If
