This week's slate of games wraps up this evening with a Monday Night Football showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings. Up to this point of the season, the Niners have been one of the best teams in the NFC as well as the entire NFL with their 5 and 1 record. Most fans and media expect San Francisco to bounce back after their first and unlikely loss last week to the Cleveland Browns 17 to 19. The Vikings, with their 2 and 4 record are on the other side of the scale as one of the weaker teams up to this point of the season. Minnesota is coming off a win last weekend over a poor Chicago Bears team 19 to 13.
