Bills at Dolphins inactive list: LeSean McCoy active

The Miami Dolphins host the Buffalo Bills Sunday afternoon in a Week 7 AFC East showdown. As per NFL rules, both teams have released the list of the seven players they have made Inactive for the game. Teams may keep a 53-man roster during the regular season, but can only use 46 players during a game.

The Bills’ inactive list does not include a name many speculated could be there after a hamstring injury occurred during the week’s practices: running back LeSean McCoy. The team is expected to use their starting running back, and the league’s second-leading rusher, but in a limited fashion, likely somewhere around 20 snaps.

The Dolphins’s inactives are cornerback Xavien Howard, cornerback Bene Benwikere, Defensive Tackle Julius Warmsley, defensive tackle Nick Williams, defensive end Terrence Fede, tight end Dion Sims, and tight end Jordan Cameron.

The Bills have made defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, tackle Seantrel Henderson, quarterback Cardale Jones, center Patrick Lewis, tackle Michael Ola, running back Jonathan Williams, and wide receiver Robert Woods inactive.

The teams kickoff at 1pm ET at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
