Fantasy Football Last Minute Lineup Changes: Week 4

This is the place to go for your final Fantasy advice for Week 4.

Week 3 was a little better for me as Tevin Coleman lived in the New Orleans end zone Monday night with three touchdowns, but I did not see the Terrelle Pryor wildcat show coming to Miami. Pryor vaulted from fantasy free agent to the number one addition in most leagues after last week. Week 4 feels better now that the ambiguous Dolphins can’t cloud my judgement.

START

Trevor Siemian (QB, DEN) – at TB: Siemian was on fire in Cincinnati last week with 315 Passing Yards and four touchdowns. The Broncos Defense should be dominant against the Buccaneers giving Siemian plenty of opportunities for big numbers. Tampa Bay’s defense is one of the worst in the league (29th) in opposing QB ratings.

Jordan Howard (RB, CHI) – vs DET: For the second week in a row I get to promote a former IU running back into fantasy lineups, which means a lot to me as a Hoosier alumnus myself. Like Pryor, Jordan Howard has surely been nabbed in every league out there after Jeremy Langford went down with an ankle injury last week. A favorable matchup with the Lions defense who allow 5.1 yards per carry should be moving Howard straight from your waiver wire to your starting lineup.

Cole Beasley (WR, DAL) – at SF: Beasley doesn’t make a lot of big plays and currently has zero touchdowns for the year, but is putting up double digit fantasy points every week. He is proving to be Dak Prescott’s favorite target in the Cowboys receiving corps. With Dez Bryant out indefinitely, expect an increase in workload for Beasley to follow.

SIT

Christine Michael (RB, SEA) – at NYJ: You may be rubbing your eyes to make sure you read this right and I completely understand that. But after Michael had the best game of his career (maybe his best for the rest of 2016) last week against San Francisco, I expect him to come crashing back to Earth this week. A cross country flight to Seattle with a 1:00 PM EST kickoff never lines up well for the visitors. It also doesn’t help that Michael is facing the third ranked rushing defense in the NFL.

DeAngelo Williams (RB, PIT) – vs KC: Williams has ripped it up for the Steelers in the first three weeks of the season as Le’Veon Bell served his three-game suspension. Bell is back this week and so is Williams to his reserve role, which means Williams should be planted firmly on your fantasy bench. Bell is just too good for the Steelers not to be giving him the bulk of the carries especially near the end zone.

Marcus Mariota (QB, TEN) – at HOU: Mariota has put up decent numbers in the first two weeks, but struggled last week against a solid Oakland defense. His matchup doesn’t get any better this week in Houston with the league’s top passing defense waiting for him. Houston allows 151 passing yards per game and just one touchdown in the air through three weeks.
