Every year here on The Phinsider, we run a pool among the authors picking the winner to each game every week. The NFL has reached the first week on the schedule, which means it is time for our first week of picks. This year, James Mckinney, Alex Parish, SUTTON, Kdog92, Jordan Oyer, Houtz, Chris Early (Duke), and I will fight it out through the 256 games that will be played over the next 17 weeks - and maybe into the postseason.
Last season, jamesradio1979 won the year with a 162&94 record, one game better than Brian Naidus. I was in third at 158&98, followed by James McKinney at 156&100, then Alex at 150&106, and finally Kdog at 142&114. With Radio not taking part in this year’s group, we will have a new champion in 2016 (and maybe one not named James).
