Josh Rosen to Start at QB for Miami; Dolphins Pickup DE Taco Charlton

The Dolphins have been crushed the first two games of the season scoring a total of 10 points, and now they are going to the bench for a quarterback change.

The team announced via NFL.com that Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to the bench, and Josh Rosen will start under center against Dallas.

Coach Brian Flores made decision official, stating that Rosen is going to get a shot to get the offense going.

Rosen has been limited to mop-up duty in the Dolphins’ two blowout losses. He’ll take over for the 36-year-old Fitzpatrick, who’s completed just 50 percent of his passes and thrown just one touchdown to four interceptions.

That wasn’t the only move the team made Thursday, as the club inked former Cowboys defensive end and Taco Charlton, a former first-round pick by Dallas.

In two seasons in Dallas, the 2017 No. 28 overall pick started seven of 27 games played, recording four sacks, 11 QB hits and one forced fumble.
