The Texans made some big news on Friday, as the team announced they have fired General Manager Brian Gaine.

The team put out a statement regarding the move Friday on the decision.

Gaine was given a five-year deal, and lasted just one and a half seasons with the team.

Executive senior VP Chris Olsen will be in charge till a replacement is found.
