Welcome to Week 6 of our Weekly Eagles Draft Simulation! I took to The Draft Network’s wonderful simulator to see how the Eagles and their TEN PICKS could fare in the draft.

Round 1, Pick 21: Grant Delpit, Safety, LSU

Other Players Available:

• Yegur Gross-Matos, Edge, Penn State
• Jeff Gladney, Cornerback, TCU
• AJ Epenesa, Edge, Iowa

With the futures of Malcolm Jenkins and Rodney McLeod up in the air, the Eagles could opt for a safety replacement. Grant Delpit is a versatile defender in the same way Jenkins is and could immediately bring a young, physical player to the unit.

Round 2, Pick 53: Jalen Reagor, Wide Receiver, TCU

• Donovan Peoples-Jones, Wide Receiver, Michigan
• Austin Jackson, Offensive Tackle, USC
• Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Running Back, LSU

Jalen Reagor is the explosive, dynamic receiver the Eagles desperately need in their offense. Reagor is phenomenal after the catch and can work as a downfield threat. He is exactly the type of player who could elevate Carson Wentz and the Eagles passing game.

Round 3, Pick 85: Troy Pride, Cornerback, Notre Dame

• Darrell Taylor, Edge, Tennessee
• Brycen Hopkins, Tight End, Purdue

Troy Pride’s athleticism in the Eagles secondary would be a massive help. Pride is a developmental player but his upside is very attractive for a defense that does not have a lot of playmaking defensive backs.

Round 4, Pick 117: Bryan Edwards, Wide Receiver, South Carolina

Other Players Available:

• Hunter Bryant, Tight End, Washington
• Khalid Kareem, Edge, Notre Dame
• Jabari Zuniga, Edge, Florida

While Jalen Reagor’s speed would boost the Eagles passing game, they’d get similar help from Bryan Edwards’ physicality and dependability. Edwards is a strong, sure-handed player who can play over the middle and be a safety net for Carson Wentz.

Round 5, Pick 127: Shane Lemieux, Guard, Oregon

Other Players Available:

• Damien Lewis, Guard, LSU
• Nick Coe, Defensive Lineman, Auburn
• Gabriel Davis, Wide Receiver, UCF

Shane Lemieux is an athletic, experienced offensive linemen who would be phenomenal depth on the Eagles offensive line. Lemieux has future starter written all over him.

Round 5, Pick 145: Markus Bailey, Linebacker, Purdue

Other Players Available:

• John Simpson, Guard, Clemson
• Devin Duvernay, Wide Receiver, Texas
• Cheyenne O’Grady, Tight End, Arkansas

Markus Bailey was poised for a big season before it got short by injury. In fact, injury has always limited Bailey’s star potential. He is a feisty, athletic linebacker who can hit, cover and even blitz. If the Eagles get a healthy Bailey, he could be a factor on their defense sooner than later.

Round 5, Pick 146: Anfernee Jennings, Edge, Alabama

• Devin Duvernay, Wide Receiver, Texas
• Cheyenne O’Grady, Tight End, Arkansas

I love the idea of Anfernee Jennings on the Eagles. Not only was he a longtime contributor at Alabama, he is physical with a phenomenal motor. He is not the most athletic player, but he plays hard and smart. Not to mention he hits hard. Jennings could be a good situational and special teams player early in his career and potentially develop a bigger role in the Eagles rotation.

Round 6, Pick 166: Bravvion Roy, Defensive Tackle, Baylor

Other Players Available:

• JR Reed, Safety, Georgia
• Khalil Davis, Defensive Lineman, Nebraska
• Ke’shawn Vaughn, Running Back, Vanderbilt

The Eagles do not have great depth at defensive tackle and Bravvion Roy would be a dependable two down defender early in his career. Roy is a huge lineman who eats up blockers and can ruin an interior running game. His upside is low, but he has a clear cut role on an NFL team.

Round 6, Pick 168: Ke’Shawn Vaughn, Running Back, Vanderbilt

• Colby Parkinson, Tight End, Stanford
• Shaq Quarterman, Linebacker, Miami

For the first time in a while, the Eagles don’t have a pressing need at running back. However, if they lose Jordan Howard in free agency, they could need a third back to run with Miles Sanders and Boston Scott. Ke’Shawn Vaughn terrorized the SEC for his whole career with quickness, vision and a hard running style. This could be a gem of a pick for Philly.

Round 6, 190: Kendrick Rodgers, Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

• Tyrie Cleveland, Wide Receiver, Florida
• Kendall Coleman, Edge, Syracuse

Kendrick Rogers’ appeal has always been in theory. The 6’4”, 210 pound receiver has always had intriguing upside and flashed moments of dominance. However he has never consistently translated it into consistent production. Taking a chance on Rogers late in the draft could give the talented pass-catcher a chance to develop into a difference maker on an offense that needs it.
