For those who aren’t aware, the Philly Taco is the combination of a Jim’s Cheesesteak wrapped in a giant slice of Lorenzo’s pizza. Behold this South Street behemoth:

As someone who once ate two Philly Tacos in one sitting (just ask John Barchard, James Seltzer, or Emily Seltzer if you don’t believe me), allow me to say that they are magical creations. Good to see The Green Goblin is making good decisions during the NFL’s dead zone.

With all due respect to Jim’s, which makes a fine cheesesteak, I still want to try a special version of the Philly Taco using a Woodrow’s cheesesteak instead.

The truffle whiz really takes the entire Woodrow’s cheeseteak experience to the next level. And it’s much more affordable than the $120 truffle cheesesteak at Barclay Prime, which I also enjoy.
