With free agency quickly approaching, where will the former Eagles WR land?

DeSean Jackson has been linked to the Eagles as potential candidate to return to the team since the 2016 NFL season, but that possibility appears to be dwindling. According to a report by Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Jackson could ensue a bidding war with multiple teams interested in his services.

“The candidates include Washington, Tampa Bay, and multiple other teams. The interest is sufficiently strong to permit Jackson’s representatives to declare bidding open when the legal tampering period commences on Tuesday, if that’s what they choose to do,” Florio wrote.

In addition, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Jackson will be seeking $10-$12 million per year.

As mentioned earlier, Jackson has said that he wouldn't mind a return to Philadelphia, but, as Eagles fan have come to find out about Jackson, money talks. Jackson held out of training camp in 2011 for over a week before finally reporting in the midst of a contract dispute. The following offseason Jackson was tagged and signed a deal worth $51 million over five years, only to be released after year two.

The team will likely kick the tires on Jackson, but if the price tag is to steep, then it may be best to move on.
