Today we noticed that many customers are adding teams in Scoring. Digging deeper into one user’s activity, we discovered that the vast majority of teams added in Scoring are also available for download from our online database.

Adding teams in Scoring should happen infrequently especially for high school teams from states that use Trackwrestling for hosting rosters. We’ve downloaded the vast majority of rosters from Trackwrestling and update much of this database on a weekly basis. You can download these teams from the Seasons interface, Get Opponent Teams. If you’re from a state that uses Track and suspect a roster is missing from our database, please let us know here.
To be sure, there are legitimate circumstances in which adding a team in Scoring is the best option. But, it shouldn’t happen very often. Spend some time before your tournaments and make sure you have the appropriate teams already in your list of Opponent Teams so that you don’t have to enter them in Scoring.
