I know the emotions of last night are probably still a little raw for everyone. Georgia hadn’t lost a football game to anyone, anywhere in 728 days prior to last night, and we’re a little out of practice with it. I wanted to take a moment to commend those of you who have commented on the site since the game for generally completing yourselves as champions. Which the Georgia Bulldogs now are, twice over.

That being said, I hope you all can appreciate this brief observation: there’s something classically Georgia football about losing the one pre-playoff “game that matters” in the very last college football season in which there really are pre-playoff games that matter.

You can cry or you can laugh, I guess.
