Around the SEC Says Nada Humble, Be Cocky

The matchup we’ve all been waiting for. Dawgs vs. Tide. Georgia has had some unfortunate endings to this matchup in previous SEC Championship Games. But you know what? Alabama is no longer the boogeyman thanks to Stetson Bennett, Kelee Ringo, and Co. That died on January 10th, 2022. If Bama does end up winning, it won’t be cause they are simply Alabama. It will be because we couldn’t contain Milroe, or we had too many self-inflicted errors, or some other valid footballing reason. But, in the words of Guillermo Heredia: “Nada humble, be cocky.” Dawgs On Top.

Here’s what’s happening around the SEC.

  • Texas A&M has hired former Duke coach Mike Elko to be their new head coach. This isn’t the flashiest hire, but it’s a smart one. Elko is an excellent coach who can legitimize the Aggies.
  • Florida coach Billy Napier has fired defensive assistants Sean Spencer and Corey Raymond. Things are going great at The Swamp.
  • Vanderbilt quarterback AJ Swann has entered the transfer portal. The former Cherokee High School standout will certainly help a program out next season.
  • There are rumors that Bobby Petrino could return to Arkansas as their new offensive coordinator. Sam Pittman is clearly in a make-or-break year if this is being considered.

GO DAWGS!!!
