Welcome to Wednesday, Bulldog Fans! At least I think it is. See, I don’t really know and am feeling rather helpless. Are we playing a noon game Saturday, or an 11:00 am game? Am I supposed to get a booster vaccine shot? Is Stetson Bennett IV in the game plan with a healthy JT Daniels? Are my Takata airbags safe? Is George Pickens suiting up in Jacksonville? Do I have 5 children, or 6? These questions, and more, are pressing on my wee little brain, and I am but your children. I’ll let these folks express my unease in melodic form:

TEXAS IS BACK! In the B1G12XIIBakersDozenLessMany Conference, that is, at least through next year. Unless of course, they pull a Jimmy Conway and give some ahem incentive to Greg Sankey to keep the ice cubes cold. In which case chuck the entire SEC 2022 Schedule announcement and look to Southwest Airlines for direct flights to Austin next fall.

Georgia’s 2022 Football Schedule is now official. We knew Oregon, Samford, and Kent State were on the docket, now we know what teams we play each week. I have to say the month of November is going to be maybe not as challenging as in years gone by.

George Pickens is also back. Back at practice, and apparently Running Routes. That the media was able to see it (though not capture it with video/photos) is an interesting message from the Bulldog brain trust.

Dawg fans were excited to see wide receiver Kearis Jackson running routes Saturday night, even catching a pass and not just fair-catching punts. There is more progress to report on injured Bulldogs, as Coach Kirby Smart told the press Tuesday. Darnell Washington and Tykee Smith are still questionable, but not ruled out. The news isn’t so good for Dominick Blaylock.

That news may have played a part in an updated betting line for Saturday’s game in Nashville against the Commodores. Or it could be that Vandy lost its leading rusher to a season-ending injury. Beating the 35 point spread would be very satisfying to a lot of Georgia faithful.

Dispatching the Gamecocks by 27 wasn’t too shabby either, and many Silver Britches continue to garner the accolades. Maybe not the most prestigious, but this one sounds just about right:

I’m not one to try and top #99, so I’ll stop here. Stay tuned to Dawg Sports during the day for your weekly TV football schedule, recaps of Bulldogs in the NFL, and conference news. Thanks for reading, and as always...
