Welcome to Hump Day of Game Week, Bulldog fans. And not just any Game Week, but the first game of the 2021 season; a season returning more to normal after the craziness of 2020, a season with a lot of returning production for the football team, and likely the most anticipated season for Georgia Bulldog fans in decades. We’ve been close before in recent years, why don’t we just go ahead and go all the way?

Now onto news and notes of the Georgia Bulldog variety:
The comparisons between UGA and Clemson are many. Position groups are fairly equal across the squads: experienced DL, new OL assignments, missing a few pieces in the secondary. The only clear winner is likely the Bulldog running back room with so much depth and talent. The comparisons continue with the quarterbacks. The Banner-Herald compares both SoCal signal callers.
The Red and Black continued the comparisons, this time checking out Mike, Will, and Sam.

Many enjoyed the Lewis Grizzard bit LugnutDawg had in Tuesday’s ‘Dawg Bites, so then you might get a kick out of this one as well. I was inundated with Grizzard through the mid 1980’s and into the early ‘90s. Stood in line for 3 hours at the Macon Mall Belk’s to get an autographed copy of his latest book for my father one December. Revisiting him after 20 years is a treasure.
