Right now, coaches are recruiting like a bunch of wild banshees. Plus, they gotta finish Christmas shopping. Give ‘em all raises!
Before we get rolling, some unfortunate breaking news: Georgia freshman defensive back Latavious Brini was arrested on a felony forgery charge. This carries up to a year in prison if found guilty.
I’m reading my favorite pay$ite (actually, I only subscribe to one) and I am amazed at the work the coaching staff is putting in as we rapidly approach the December 20th early signing period.
And now, for no particular reason, my favorite Clapton tune of all-time:
Fresh off the huge Trey Hill announcement, Georgia’s coaches are travelling and preaching the gospel according to dog to those kids who are either leaning towards us or on the fence. It’s always a wild ride, but this year feels like the momentum that we’ve gained since whoopin’ Auburn 10 days ago is about to pay off. I’m no insider, but stuff is happening.

Brenton Cox, once thought to be a long-shot recruit after he committed to Ohio State many moons ago, might just be one more day closer to becoming a Georgia Bulldog. Kirby is doing work, folks. Looks like he’ll announce very soon:
Five-star DE Brenton Cox will sign on Dec. 20 at Stockbridge High School. Time is still to be finalized. Cox recently de-committed from Ohio St. and Georgia is making its push.— Brandon Sudge (@brandonsudge) December 13, 2017
I like our chances...
Newsy notes and bits of tid...
The Red & Black takes a look at Oklahoma’s defensive line. If the Sooners are to be successful, much of the burden will fall to this unit as they prepare for Ground Dawg Day*.
Here’s a look at Mel Tucker coaching ‘em up and doing a pretty good Lou Rawls impersonation.
Our SBNation Oklahoma sister site, Crimson and Cream machine has done a bit of analysis on Jake Fromm. The inevitable comparisons to Baker Mayfield are there, but still a nice write-up.
The Georgia Tech @ Georgia basketball game will now be televised on ESPN 2 next Tuesday. This is being moved from ESPNU, so hooray for more national exposure.
Enjoy the day, err’body. As Always, GO DAWGS!
*I just made that up.
