My Weekly NFL Picks (Week 10)

My Weekly NFL Picks (Week 10)

Well, the halfway point of the season has come and gone. As usual we do have headlines all over the place. Before we get to the latest word on the National football League. This past Monday came as no surprise to anybody in the NFL. The Indianapolis Colts have fired Frank Reich after almost 5 full seasons, the Colts are 3-5-1 in the 2022 season. This move came out of leftfield to some within the league. I am however not surprised at all. Besides when a head coach brings in a quarterback to hopefully turn the franchise around. It backfired on him over and over and over, etc. Unfortunately, Reich never had the right quarterback the entire time in Indianapolis. They went from Jacoby Brissette, Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, etc. it never worked out for him. He did take the Colts to the playoffs, but it was shorter than the state lottery. The Colts named Jeff Saturday head coach on an interim basis and let’s see how this circus turns out. Speaking of a circus, there is an ongoing one in Washington D.C. as this soap opera won’t stop showing the behind the scenes preview of better days ahead for this Washington Commanders franchise. Once Dan Snyder is no longer the owner, and it may come after this season if the NFL has its way. It is long overdue for Snyder to give up the franchise, try over 2 decades due for a change. As for this season, they still have some time to get in contention, but the time is starting to tick down on them. The Green Bay Packers are a mess right now, and any hopes for the playoffs will have to rest on what happens with Aaron Rodgers and the offense. If they don’t beat Dallas on Sunday, then the Packers will have to think long and hard about the future of the Packers franchise. There window for a championship is getting close to be shut for good. Do the Buffalo Bills have some concern on their hands? It is about the status of quarterback Josh Allen, and his elbow injury. Bills fans are hoping it is just a sprain, and we will keep you posted on that developing story. Tom Brady has another record that we have to talk about as he became the first player in NFL history to reach 100,000 passing yards in his career (combined regular season and postseason). Let’s go ahead and declare this, nobody is touching that record. Tom Brady, the best quarterback to ever do it. Now for my weekly picks as Week 9 in November, got off to a great start as I went 9-4. So far in this 2022 season, my record is now 76-59-1. Now it’s time to display my Week 10 picks.
