Well we have reached the halfway point of the season, and we still have 1 team still unbeaten in the Birmingham Stallions (4-0), and 1 winless team still in the Pittsburgh Maulers (0-4). In fact, the Maulers are now in must win mode for the rest of the season. They can’t afford another loss at this point of the season. The only good news they have as they have to play all 3 Division opponents, later this season. The only question remains is when win #1 occurs. The Stallions did sign Bo Scarborough (former Alabama Crimson Tide) running back this week. The South division has been competitive all season long. The North division still has a long way to go, but they don’t really have a lot of time left. Only the Philadelphia Stars and the New Jersey Generals are on top of the North Division. So here are my Week 5 picks in the USFL, as the play on the field has really picked up in earnest.
