The Super Bowl LVI Preview + Pick

Tags: bowl rams bengals

Well football fans the big game is finally here, this coming weekend. If you didn’t know who is playing, no worries it is the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. I believe it is a good matchup, however it is not the matchup i had in mind. Its the best thing about the NFL playoffs as it has been very entertaining. Great games all around, and some of these teams gave us a lasting impression into the 2022 NFL season. However i look forward to this game being entertaining between the Rams (4th Super Bowl appearance, 1-2 overall) and the Bengals (3rd Super Bowl appearance, 0-2 overall). It is all about the quarterbacks Matthew Stafford (Rams) and Joe Burrow (Bengals). Burrow is trying to get a championship early in his career, and has been impressive in beating the mighty Kansas City Chiefs, and it was not easy to do. Coming back from 3 scores down to do it, with some help from JaMarr Chase and others contributing. They will have to battle the Rams defense that don’t give up a lot of big plays all season. In the case for Matthew Stafford, is this his only chance to win a Super Bowl? I believe so only because he is on the other side of a good career. Besides until this season he was playing with the Detroit Lions and wasting away his good years. So the Rams are going for it all, but its not just Stafford that wants to win this Super Bowl. Its several players on the Rams like Aaron Donald, Odell Beckham Jr, Jalen Ramsey, Von Miller, Cooper Kupp, etc. What about the coaches, Sean McVay has been here before and got beat almost 4 years ago. I’m sure he has learned from that awful day in the super bowl. As for Zac Taylor who has done an outstanding turning the Bengals around in that competitive AFC North division. How in the world Zac Taylor didn’t get any consideration for Coach of the year. Nobody expected the Bengals to even be in the Super Bowl at all. There last appearance was the 1988, and almost pulled off a shocker if not for the legendary Joe Montana (4 time super bowl winner) and his comeback going on a 80 yard drive to win it. So for the Bengals is the third time a charm, or will the Rams finally win a super bowl for Los Angeles? Its ironic the game is play in Los Angeles, so this would be a unique story.

Here is my Super Bowl LVI pick: Rams over Bengals

I got Matthew Stafford winning the MVP
