Nice for a 5 year/ $95 million Investment to come to spring training more overweight than typical. Nicer that he loses his starting job on skill. Nicest that the investment is out for the season officially with an injury.
THE RIVER:
-Bryce Harper signed an undisclosed contract with Under Armour. Sounds about right for the company that originally posted his Clown line on a shirt (which I have since stolen).
-The sadness in the air you feel is the cloud that hangs over the male single crowd today. Kate Upton is officially engaged to Justin Verlander. If you were wondering why he isn’t losing his mind over a decreasing in speed fastball, now you know. The focus might be on other things.
-Put me down for the slightly politically incorrect 10-1 Gun Runner in the upcoming Kentucky Derby.
-I read the article on where Shon Coleman watched the draft and it made me feel like I haven’t accomplished anything in life. Great stuff.
-In TV season for me. Ballers coming back. Kenny Powers guy on another show. Silicon Valley getting all whack and staying great.
