It's funny but also not funny anymore that they keep empowering this asshat to go on a personal vendetta.
2. MSU Preview

Not good. RB Nate Carter can run but Katin Houser is Noah Kim with more forgiving cornerbacks.
2. MSU Preview

DT Simeon Barrow is the guy to watch on defense but most of them are just so mid.
4. Indiana After Review

More of the same. JJ and Graham are All-Americans. Offense is bringing out interesting counters to Duo as they develop that game instead of zone stretch. Defense's thing this week was snags. The TD was a situational awareness issue. Colson talk? No. Barrett talk: yes.
About the Featured Musician: MAY ERLEWINE
This year we are partnering with The Blind Pig for bumper music, since that's where I've seen most of the bands I've been pushing anyways.
This is the week we're featuring May Erlewine, who's got a show coming up at the Ten Pound Fiddle Coffee House on Friday, Nov. 3rd at Michigan State University in East Lansing. She's one of the most prolific singer-songwriters of the Midwest and has grouped with countless musicians around here. She's explored a lot of different sounds but she's at her best when just sitting on a chair with a guitar. Her voice on stage encourages connectedness and stresses the importance of environmental advocacy, social justice, creative empowerment and community building as necessary work for all of us.
Song choices:
- Anyway
- Never One Thing
- Like Moses (Malone)
Also because Across 110th Street will get our Youtubes taken now now, the opener and outro:
- “The Employee is Not Afraid”—Bear vs. Shark
- “Ruska Vodka”—Motorboat

Hutchinson was telling their tackles they're running the fall on their ass play before the snap. How would he know that?

Is May Erlewine related to Stephen Thomas Erlewine? (Former WCBNer and publisher of the amazing All Music Guide)

Yes, that’s her cousin. She’s a great musician and performer. She’s also cousins with Anne Erlewine who is another fantastic music and art figure in Ann Arbor. Her dad is Michael Erlewine who founded Allmusic, hence my original confusion.

Would the staffer have had to ask fans to tape the sidelines? Don't we get that info on the All 22 feed?

When teams send their All-22s they purposefully scrub out as much as they possibly can. They won't show the play until the snap--even pre-snap motion is usually excluded.
Yeah the staffer seems to have gone out on his own to find fans who will shoot the opposing sidelines to capture their signals. Unless they can show Michigan knew that's where the staffer was getting his signs knowledge, or he was submitting bills or something, I don't think they're getting in any trouble. Fans can shoot games. There's an old rule nobody cares about because it was from a time before smartphones that says you can't send staffers to watch opponents during the season, because it was an expense smaller schools wanted to avoid. But if you have fans just recording games and sending them to a guy, they can probably argue that's kosher since he wasn't there in person and anything that fans provide you is fair game.

Thanks!
If that's the case, I can see someone asking "Where did you think the guy was getting signs if it's not on the All 22 and he wasn't going to the games?"

I thought at first these were time stamps for the video and not the actual time. Thus, I thought you spent 25 seconds on the MSU preview and thought, “yeah, that’s appropriate.”

Never thought I’d see someone like May featured on the blog but she’s a fantastic songwriter and artist. She had a long run as a featured act with the Earthwork Music Collective and former partner Seth Bernard, who is fantastic in his own right.
