Decathlon’s Running Series 2016: Overview

Decathlon’s Running Series are coming to their final runs with a 10k run in Belfast, on the 6th of November, and a 5k in Southhampton on the 20th of November.

Those are really exciting times for Decathlon, as the running series this year were very successful and we had over 3500 participants so far.

The registration process

First, let me explain how easy it is to sign up for a run part of the Decathlon Running Series. The registration process is pretty simple and straightforward. Each participant has to follow this link (http://www.myraceentries.co.uk/decathlon/HomePage.aspx) and choose their preferred race location. You can sign up as an individual or alternatively if you want to run along with your friends and family, you can also register as a group.

Each participant of each FREE Decathlon Running Series event receives a t-shirt before the race and a goody bag to the value of £10 after the race.

How did it all start?

The Decathlon Running Series started with a 5k run in Warrington on 20th of June. Our organisation team was ready to welcome about 300 participants for this very first Decathlon running event of the year. Warrington was a 5k, as well as all the rest of the running series, except the upcoming 10k race in Belfast which will accommodate over 1000 people, aged 16 and over. We had two waves of participants in Stockport and Nottingham, where the demand for participation was really high.
